Someone has a newfound love for stickers. He’ll stick them on everyone in the house’s nose, tummy, and mouth…and then press them down onto the wood floors (thankfully, by then they have little “sticky” left)

inglimpses of spring
Saying hello to a few “friends” while playing outside this afternoon brought a big smile to my face.
I’m already looking forward to a few things in the days and weeks to come: lots of time outside with the little one, evenings on the screened in porch, and getting my hands in some dirt. I know we still have a ways to go (not to mention a chance of snow on Friday), but 55 degrees in February doesn’t help my already developing spring fever. I’m in trouble.

inan “amazing” treat
Oscar had his first taste of chocolate pudding last night. Â Nana and Pops couldn’t believe we’d held out on him so long. Â He couldn’t shovel it in fast enough, and called it “amazing” a few times, yet still stopped to offer to feed Mama bites here and there. Â What a sweetie.
All smiles. Â I think he’s a fan.

Oscar: “Ta-dah! Mom! A head!”
With as much time as we play with Mr. Potato Head these days, I’m really looking forward to visiting this exhibit at the Children’s Museum soon. Out of the three of us, I’m not sure who will enjoy it most!

insuper sunday
We were glad to get out and enjoy the festivities downtown with family and friends last Sunday, before things got too crazy.
We didn’t tell Oscar about the following picture to keep him from feeling hurt. It’s best we keep it our little secret.
Have a SUPER Sunday! Ours is going to be full of time as our little family, pepperoni dip, white chicken chili, and hopefully a Giants victory!
Pepperoni dip:
1 can rotel
1 block cream cheese
8 oz (give or take) pepperoni, quartered
Combine all ingredients and heat in crock pot until melted. Serve with tortilla chips. This recipe is the perfect football snack! It is easily doubled for sharing with friends (if you can refrain from eating the whole batch yourself). Good luck with that.
